First off, thank you for visiting this section of our dog house!
To have you look at this page to see what our needs are and where you can help means a lot, so thank you again.

Our needs change from time to time but here are our greatest needs at the moment;
TRANSPORTATION
We need a new, used van. The one that we have now has almost 250,000 miles on her, and maintenance bills are adding up. We do a lot of driving all over middle Tennessee to get these dogs out of shelters and out of less than acceptable living conditions. We would love to have a mini passenger van with around 100,000 miles or so. If anyone knows of one that someone would be willing to donate or knows of one for sale that fits what we are looking for, please let us know.
FOOD
Any brand, any flavor, any type.
We can even make arrangements for us to get it.
FOSTERS
Fosters, boy do we need fosters. We need people to open up their homes for these pups. There are too many dogs and not enough places to put them until we find them their forever home. Everything is taken care of, food, vet care, we will even loan you the equipment to make the new baby as comfortable as possible. All we need is for you to open up your home and give them a warm lap to lay on.
METAL CRATES
We are always in need of metal crates to transport the dogs, give them a safe place to be when we need to leave them alone for a little while, and loan out to our fosters. If you are on Facebook, there are always metal crates for sale there at drastically reduced prices. Size doesn't matter.
BLANKETS, TOWELS & CLEANING SUPPLIES
We use blankets, sheets, and towels in our crates, especially when we are at adoption events, to give the pups a soft place to lie, and they help in case they have an accident. They are also easy for a cleanup, and you can pick up at a thrift store. We use cleaning supplies to clean out crates, clean up accidents, spot removers, etc. any brand or any type is welcomed.
MONEY
This is a biggie! We here at Rags to Riches Animal Rescue firmly believe that when a dog goes to a new home, that dog deserves to be completely healthy. To do that, it means trips to the veterinarians' offices. When a dog comes to us, we deworm them, give them their vaccinations, and spay or neuter. Depending on the age of the dog, we may have to do a dental cleaning. Sometimes we get a dog that has lumps that need to be removed, and they are cancerous. That moves us into a whole other level of expenses.
